What is Celiac?

Celiac is a digestive disease that damages the small intestine and interferes with the absorption of nutrients from food. People who have Celiac cannot tolerate gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley. Gluten can also be found in medicine, vitamins and many other daily products that people are not aware of .That's why reading labels is a MUST for people who have Celiac.
